Play a sport for a term.

I picked this topic because I enjoy swimming. 

I started about term 3 last year and from then on

I've done it every term. 

each term I swim three times a week each swim is an hour 

that adds up to about 30 hours each term. 

I swim on Monday Wednesday and Fridays after school at 3:30 pm I love seeing the swimming races they swim so fast. The best time for 50m is 21 seconds. I done it faster (not really).
I want to see them swim in real life not just on the tv. Maybe one day I'll swim in one of comps (probably not).  

homework post book review 2

Prisoner in Alcatraz this book was good I enjoyed reading it and the storyline went for being slow to being an action full book about a man trying the escape Alcatraz.

what happened
Marty king was a young kid that lived in a shack outside of train station but a few year later his mum dies and the is left in the shack by himself. Then he was found and taken to a orphanage after about a year there his friend plan a rob a bank. They took gun for a store then walked in to the bank. Marty ended up killing two people.       

Main character Marty king.
Remained for slow readers who like shorter storys.
I give this book a 7.5/10 After a bit of a slow start the story really picks up.

Bad product or service

The bad product that I bought Black Ops 2. I pre orded the game on September so I could pick up the day it came out. So I did I put the playstation and turn it on. The looked good I played for about four hours then it froze and took the game out and put it back in but it wouldn't work. I called my friend and he was having this problem as well he had asked the shop and they said to turn off the playstation then turn it back on it worked again but to this day it still does it

Science fair

My topic for science fair was spray on toothpaste this my write up.

Introduction

The Spray on toothpaste is like no other. It’s cheap and fun to use. We have done some research and have found that the only other spray on toothpaste is unable to be purchased  in New Zealand. The people that we surveyed expected the price that we have priced it at which is around $5.00. From the surveys that we have done this product is needed.The spray can from the product will be reusable and you can put toothpaste in it so it is environmentally friendly.

Aim

Our aim is to make a toothpaste spray can that is reusable and environmentally friendly.

What we know  

We have done a bit of research and all what we have found is a similar product which the purpose of it isn't meant to be for spray on toothpaste, it is for mouthwash. And a Sensodyne Spray on toothpaste but we don’t know if it is legit because we have never seen it in shops.The only other product we have found is Sensodyne spray on toothpaste but we have never seen it in shops or anywhere or maybe its in a different country. But we haven't seen it in New Zealand shops. We have asked people and they said they have never heard of it. Our product will be better because it will have a better design and more efficient because it will be in a reusable can so you can put toothpaste in and out.

Marketing

It will be sold in a thin tall box with a plastic see through part on the right side of the box. It would sell for $8 a can and $5 a refill. This product would be purchasable in supermarkets and pharmacy.

Needs Assessment 

To design this product we got a empty spray can and we decorated it to look like what we have now. We didn’t really make anything after that product that we made because we were quite happy of what it looked like so that was the only model we made.

We did a survey (Room 42 students) and 90% of the people surveyed stated that they need this product. Only 2 out of 30 have said that they have seen a product like this, and 10% wouldn’t buy this product.

OTHER

We have also tried to create bacon, strawberry or bubblegum flavoured toothpaste for the spray can but unfortunately we couldn't find a recipe.

Project development

When we created spray on toothpaste the idea was that it would make it much easier to put toothpaste on your brush but when we opened the can this happened.

Game Explanation

Kerbal Space Program

The game Kerbal Space Program or KSP is a sandbox Simulation game base on the space rocket launches in the 60's. But unlike the Rockets to the moon there any waiting for you to explore. The frist basic step is to build a rocket And get off Kerbin the plant you launch your rocket from. You don't have to get to other plants you can launch unmanned probes To orbit earth. You can buy this game for the Steam store for about $22 US/$27 NZ. Again rockets aren't the only thing you can build you can make planes, cars and really what ever you can think of. 

  

My mums job

My mums job is to do house work and pick me up from school everyday then take me to were I need to be. But that not all she does, she play two instruments the gaiter and the flute. She sometime helps my dad in the office if he needs to employ new people. On the weekends she still works to drive us places like Bay-fair  But again thats not all she does she cooks everyday and shops for food each week.

Dialogue with family

"Dad can i have some cherios " I say
"No" says dad "we don't have any"
My sister walks into the room
"I want some cherios too" she says
"I already told your bother we have NO cherios" yells dad
"But I want cherios" my sister yells back
Then starts running to her room crying.
"Dad" I say "Can I um have some a Cherios"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
 "Then can I have some chocolate with cherios" I say hopefully
Dad didn't say word and then walked out of the room

 the fat starship commander

December 31st 2099 

The frist day the fat starship commander try to take over the world in his ship the u.n.n jomama. his plan was to frist kill all the starship commander so he would be the only one. But that didn't really work out. So he choose something easier kill all the maker of the starships his would be the only one left. So he did the fat starship commander set off to the frist starship factory and successfully blew it up. He did so with second and third. His plan had work but he had not planed for the starship already made they caught him and the fat starship commander was put in jail.                 

My weekend  

On the weekend I played computer games with my friends. We play minecraft Wasted. Wasted is a game based on wasteland but its a bits like black ops in that you have to kill the other team and get kill streaks. My highest is 50. You can get lots of items like lmg's, smg's, rocket launchers and even jetpacks. There are about 30 citys and towns you can go to the citys have shops you buy things from you can find things in house so you don't have to buy guns.

"OK!" yelled Matt now running to follow Zane

"Come on Come on they could see us!" says Zane

As the two Noobs Ran to the canteen Connor And Hugh ran after them.

Connor yells "Run we need to get to them" 

"Were almost there" Says Hugh

"Were not going to make it" Connor yells 

Back to the noobs
"So now were here now" said matt "will you buy me something"
"Nooo" Said Zane "I came because you have money." 

morning blog post

One of my friends named Zane Prior is a funny guy and continuously says he's Batman and his favourite saying is 'O my lender that is quiet the nasty one'. He has long hair and a rats-tail. He plays games a lot e.g Minecraft and Black Ops. When we play with him he dies a lot. He beats me in most games but I can beat him sometimes. Ok, not really.

charging laptops at schools

What are the negatives of charging laptops at school
•Cost the school money to use chargers.
•If you use your laptop well charging battery life is decreased.
•If you charge when you are at school many stop charging at home.

What are two suggestion to solving this problem
•We could make it so when you want to charge at school you can pay 25¢
•We could also have two chargers at the back of a classroom and you have to charge there away from everyone

My opinion
• My opinion is that we should have to give in 25¢ each time we need to charge

   

My weekend

In the weekend I drop my mum off at the airport so she could get on the plane to Australia for a week I was annoyed that I couldn't go with her. We got up the next morning just my sister my dad and I and took my sister to her hockey game I was disappointed that I had to come to the game plus they lost.
On Sunday it rain the whole day so we stayed inside the whole day. At night we saw a movie.

I wonder why

How come you can kill a deer and put it up on your wall. but you can't  keep one as a pet? 

Because they are wild animals, they can be considered very dangerous. For the reason that the deer could completely stomp you to death could be the reason they don't want you to have them as a pet. plus the deer head isn't going to attack you. If you have small house or yard it would have space to run around in.  

I wonder why

Q.I wonder why pizza is round but they come in square boxes

A.Square boxes are easier to ship and store flat. Pizza is easier to cut and cook in round shape as it would be harder to make the sides squared. If a pizza came in a round box it would fit  but its harder to get the pizza out of the box because if would fit so well you need the empty space to grab the sides of the pizza.  

  

going to the graveyard

On Friday the 31st of May our class went to the 17th Ave graveyard. There were many different graves for a stone in the ground to a ship anchor. There were a lot of deaths around the 1960-1969. We went to the graveyard for our math lesson we have to pick a question on what want to find e.g how many people died in the 1930's-1940's.
